[CLEO - HOT READS!] He's Jealous of My Success

Featured in CLEO Magazine October 2014 edition
By: Stephanie Mamonto

A new study from Kate A. Ratliff (University of  Florida) and Shigehiro Oishi (University of  Virginia) on Journal of Personality and Social Psychology says a woman's success made her partner feels worse about himself because it damages a male's ego.

In the article, with the help of my friend, who is also a psychologist, Ajeng Raviando, I tried to figure out how to reduce the risk of your partners' jealousy, if you are more successful than them.
What makes it more interesting is your partners probably weren't even aware that their self-esteem was affected by your success. Next thing you know, this 'silent' problem has already broken and ruined your relationships.
Good luck if you are now struggling with it. Hope this article helps.

[Pasar Seni ITB 2014] Me, You, and Our Little Piece of Universe

A nice stranger, Rumi Siddharta, who I met during my spontaneous travel asked me to write anything to welcoming Pasar Seni ITB 2014, an art market event that takes place every four years at Institut of Teknologi Bandung, West Java, November 23rd.

The theme was "Antara Aku, Kita, dan Semesta" (Between Myself, Us, and The Universe). The writing was an attempt to become more serious and deep in life. But I think I failed to do it. So if you have spare time and want to kill it with my blahblargh just go to their online zine. But I've warned you.

Anyway thanks Rumi for the opportunity! =)
